This Monday, make a 30-second phone call to urge your Congressional Representatives to REJECT a Secret Farm Bill that puts profits over people, and SUPPORT a bill that nourishes people and the planet.

The Farm Bill is a $300 Billion piece of legislation up for renewal every 5 years. All of us eat, and all of us have a stake in this bill - it decides how much $ goes to food stamps, environmental programs, corn subsidies, and more.

Agricultural Committee leaders just proposed a secret, backroom version that would cut $4 billion from nutrition programs (food stamps, WIC, etc) and $6.5 billion from conservation programs. The cuts to democracy are priceless.
